MAGNOLIA ROBICHAUX
Magnolia is an artist, poet, writer and musician. She was inspired to write Little Bird Bedtime Stories and Book of Verse when living at the foot of a mountain range in California. She got to know the birds there, and many trusted her, visiting when she had her daily tea under the branches of a large elm tree. She has held hummingbirds, finches and blue birds. She has a love for other animals too, and below are pictures of a few of her pets, along with several other photos. Exploring a library, Magnolia discovered several artists that drew pictures for children's books of the past and began collecting the images. Many of those drawings are included in Little Bird Bedtime Stories and Book of Verse. Her love of writing poetry inspired her to write poems to go with the stories in her book and a few extra verses to celebrate the magical world of fairies, elves and imagination.

Kiko, Magnolia's white cat, also enjoyed afternoon tea on the deck, with her own small cup of cream. Unlike other cats, Kiko never chased away the visiting birds. She also had unusual eyes - one was blue and one was green.
